DGwise is an Australian company that offers a comprehensive cybersecurity program focused on protecting children and youth online, through the teaching of responsible and conscious digital citizenship.
Innovative solutions for schools and families against threats in the digital environment. Through a series of videos, tutorials, blog posts, educational booklets, activities, and games to teach children and young people about cyber risks. DGwise provide training and content for teachers to use in the classroom and offer resources for parents to understand and manage their children’s internet usage.
The DGwise program was designed to meet the needs of the entire school community. For schools, it provides a support system where they can find resources, knowledge, and partnerships to assist in the development and management of digital environment challenges, as well as offering guidance on how to deal with inherent risks. For teachers, it provides access to information and support to enhance their classroom practices. For parents, it offers quality content and tools, such as parental control applications, to help guide and protect their children in relation to technology use, while also providing relevant information on how to address various topics with their children. And for students, it provides access to quality educational content, aiming to foster the development of conscientious, empathetic digital citizens capable of protecting themselves even in the absence of direct supervision.
